WCCSS Meals on Wheels

WCCSS was established in 2001 with our mission being to serve hot, delicious meals five days a week to citizens who reside in Western Clinton County. WCCSS is the home of the Meals on Wheels program with volunteers visiting and delivering a hot, nutritious meals to homebound clients in Albers,Aviston,Damiansville,New Baden, New Memphis and Trenton. We offer programs that are of interest to our people, education concerning nutrition, wellness and many services including Benefits Access, flu shots, blood pressure checks and help with Medicare A,B,C and D. They enjoy Bingo, quilting, card games, exercise and special parties on all holidays.




Providing much more than a meal, companionship and a watchful eye on the health and safety of our Seniors. For those that have trouble getting around, we bring the service to you. For those that can still venture out into the community, we serve in our Centers. Come enjoy food and fun in Trenton, Monday through Friday and New Baden on Weds. WESTERN CLINTON COUNTY SENIOR SERVICES RECEIVES $1250.00 FOR PARTICIPATION IN MEALS ON WHEELS AMERICA’S 2016 MARCH FOR MEALS Funding for the 14th Annual Awareness Campaign Made Possible by Subaru’s Share the Love Event Western Clinton County Senior Service (WCCSS) is proud to announce that it has received a $1250.00 Grant award from Meals on Wheels America for its participation in the 14th Annual March for Meals campaign. This past March was WCCSS 5th year participating in the national Meals on Wheels awareness campaign designed to celebrate the proven collaboration of local community organizations, businesses, all levels of government and compassionate individuals to ensure that our seniors are not forgotten. Throughout the month of March, WCCSS held numerous fund raiser and participated in Community Champions week. Champion’s week welcomed Illinois State Representative Charlie Meier, Mayors and other community representatives. These generous volunteers helped deliver Meals on Wheels and brought awareness to the community of our programs.
